Support our investigation into rising anti-Semitism in New York and New Jersey

Rebel News is doing the kind of investigative journalism that the mainstream media won’t do. We have dispatched a reporter to New York and New Jersey to investigate the recent spike in anti-Semitic terror attacks — including the recent stabbing of five people in Monsey, NY, and a gun attack on a Jewish supermarket in Jersey City, NJ — allegedly at the hands of Black Hebrew Israelites.

Reporter David Menzies and a cameraman are spending a number of days in the area speaking to locals from every faction to get to the bottom of this enormous public safety threat. (You can see all of David’s videos on this page — please scroll down to WATCH his latest reports.)

January 13, 2010 — Levi from Brooklyn discussed the recent rash of violent anti-Semitic attacks in New York and New Jersey and how some Jews have taken to arming themselves in response.

January 10, 2010 — Nothing to fear here, folks: in an endeavour to stem the tide of growing anti-Semitism, Brooklyn, NY-based Rabbi Yoni Katz endeavours to build bridges with others in the community by taking them on tours of his facility to have them experience Hasidic Jewish culture.

January 10, 2010 — David Menzies visited the now-shuttered JC Kosher Supermarket in Jersey City, NJ, the site of a horrific massacre on December 10. David spoke to locals and a visitor to the synagogue next door to try and make sense of an event that has been labelled as an act of domestic terrorism.

January 9, 2010 — Prayers are not enough: Rebel News visits Anthony Melé, a U.S. Army veteran and founder of AMI Global Security based in Chestnut Ridge, NY.

January 8, 2010 — Heroism triumphs over terrorism: When a machete-wielding man broke into the Monsey, NY, home of Rabbi Chaim Rottenberg, terror and panic took over. But while 32-year-old Joseph Gluck had a chance to flee to safety, he chose instead to successfully fight off the assailant, likely saving many lives.

January 8, 2010 — David Menzies visited Harlem, NY, home to the church of the Black Hebrew Israelites. Some of the people involved in the recent spate of violent anti-Semitic attacks on New York and New Jersey are allegedly connected to this church.

January 7, 2010 — David Menzies visits Monsey, NY, where a machete-wielding Grafton Thomas allegedly tried to massacre the family of Rabbi Chaim Rottenberg — right in the rabbi’s own home last month.

Members of the Rottenberg family declined to come on camera, but a member of the synagogue did weigh in about the number of violent anti-Semitic attacks that have been spiking in New York and New Jersey.

January 7, 2010 — Thousands of Jews and their allies marched across the Brooklyn Bridge to take a stand against the spike in violent anti-Semitic acts in New York and New Jersey, David Menzies reports.

January 6, 2020 — At the “No Hate, No Fear” rally in Brooklyn, NY, David Menzies caught up with Curtis Sliwa, the founder and CEO of the Guardian Angels, a volunteer organization that works to prevent crime
