We did it! We raised $33,000 to help Iraqi Christians. But can you help us cover the costs of Sheila’s trip to Iraq?

February 6, 2020 On last night’s episode of The Ezra Levant Show, Ezra Levant joined Glenn Beck to talk about our Save The Christians Rebel Christmas fundraising drive and presents a cheque to support The Nazarene Fund.

Rebel News teamed up with The Nazarene Fund to raise money for the Christian refugees in Syria and Iraq. That’s one of the world’s most ancient Christian communities — they even still pray in Aramaic, the language Jesus himself spoke.

But Iraq’s Christians are in grave jeopardy — first, from the genocide perpetrated by ISIS terrorists, and now by other Muslim extremists, including those supported by Iran.

Just before Christmas, Sheila Gunn Reid of Rebel News travelled to Iraq to meet some of these Christian families first-hand, and to inspect the work done by the registered charity, The Nazarene Fund.

But it wasn’t enough to just tell their story — we needed to help.

And we got it! Thanks to our generous viewers, we were able to raise more than $33,000 to support The Nazarene Fund’s projects that Sheila personally observed in action. Mission accomplished!

But our journey is not quite over. We still need to cover the costs of Sheila’s journalism in Iraq her flights alone totalled just over $2,000.

So, if you support Sheila’s journalism and want to help our efforts, please use the form below to contribute to a separate journalism fund, to cover her journalistic costs.

We kept this fund completely separate from the Indiegogo campaign — the one below is only for our costs.

Thank you for your support!
